Pilates, Zumba & “Fall Into Fitness” News

Pilates will be held in the Gym on Monday evenings beginning September 8 from 6:45-7:45 p.m. ZUMBA will be held on Tuesdays beginning August 26 from 12:15-1:15 p.m. , and replace the Abs & Arms and Waist Down classes that day. Also, please sign up for Fall into Fitness, which begins Monday August 25. At long last, the renovation of ICO’s library (phase I) is complete. And, it’s absolutely gorgeous. ICOlympics this Saturday!

ICOlympics, a Student Association-hosted event, will take place on the lot next to the Residential Complex on Saturday, Aug. 16. Events include limbo, water balloon toss, volleyball, dodgeball, relay race, tug-of-war, and hot dog and watermelon eating contests. Admissions Volunteers Needed

Each year, ICO’s admissions team visits dozens of undergraduate institutions throughout the U.S. and Canada, representing the college at graduate/professional fairs and conducting presentations for pre-optometry and pre-health clubs. Schedule permitting, students may visit these schools on ICO’s behalf, usually their own alma mater. Contact senior director of admissions Teisha Johnson for more information.
