Homecoming 2014 is scheduled for Sept. 5-7. Register today! 

We’ve reserved a block of rooms block has been reserved at the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. ICO alumni can access special group rates of $179 and $199. Reserve your room online, or by contacting the hotel at 800-628-2112 and using group code NV8 or identifying yourself as a participant of ICO Homecoming 2014. 

The weekend’s itinerary is as follows:

Friday, Sept. 5
12:30 p.m. – Shuttle from InterContinental to Wrigley rooftop (3639 N. Sheffield Ave.)

1:20 p.m. – Wrigley rooftop game (Cubs vs. Pirates)

4 p.m. – Shuttle from rooftop to InterContinental

4-10 p.m. – Shuttle between InterContinental and campus

6:30-9 p.m. – Taste of Chicago Blind Spot (featuring dinner, bar and entertainment in the ICO courtyard)

Saturday, Sept. 6
9-10:30 a.m. – 50 Year Club Breakfast (by invitation only, InterContinental)

11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. – Shuttle between InterContinental and campus

12-5 p.m. – Campus tours

1-2 p.m. – Practice Management for Today’s Optometrist (ICO Lecture Center)

2-4 p.m. – Student/Alumni Mingle (featuring exhibitors and raffle prizes, ICO gym)

5:30-6:30 p.m. – Leadership Circle Reception (by invitation only, InterContinental)

6:30-9 p.m. – Class Reunion Dinner and Awards (InterContinental)

Sunday, Sept. 7
8-9 a.m. – Continental breakfast and sign-in (ICO Lecture Center foyer)

9-10:40 a.m. – Microbial Keratitis (presented by Louis Sclafani, OD ’89, FAAO; two hours CE non-tested, COPE-approved; ICO Lecture Center)

10:40-11 a.m. – Refreshment break

11 a.m.-12:40 p.m. – Cornea and Contact Lens Update (presented by Lindsay Sicks, OD ’10, FAAO; two hours CE non-tested, COPE-approved; ICO Lecture Center)

12:50-2 p.m. – Campus tours
