Community Based Clinical Education
The Illinois College of Optometry maintains over 100 affiliations with community based clinical education sites in the Chicago metropolitan area, throughout the United States and International sites. Students have the opportunity to enhance their education by participating in clinical care in these diverse settings. Many of these sites are located in major teaching hospitals, research centers, outpatient service departments or outstanding private group practices. All are staffed with approved teaching faculty committed to the highest standards in educating future health care providers. A listing of program locations can be found below.
