Transportation

There are several options for ground transportation from O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport to the College.

Taxi/Cab
The fare from either airport is contingent upon traffic conditions. Visitors have reported fares from Midway Airport to the College in the range of $25-35 and from O'Hare to the College in the range on $40-60. "Ride Share" may be available from either airport to the downtown area, which will reduce the fare. Taxis are readily available outside the arrival/baggage claim areas of both airports.

Public Transportation from O'Hare Airport

Take the Green Line south to the 35th Street/Bronzeville stop. This stop is in the middle of the Illinois Institute of Technology's campus. Walk north to 33rd Street. Take a right onto 33rd Street, then walk two blocks to Indiana Avenue. At Indiana Avenue take a left. The entrance to the College is 1/2 block north on Indiana Avenue. The basic fare on most trains and busses in Chicago is $2.00-2.25 plus .25 for a transfer. The transfer will enable the rider to go from train to train, or train to bus.

Public Transportation from Midway Airport:
From Midway take the Orange Line northeast to the Roosevelt Street stop. At the Roosevelt Street stop transfer to the Green Line headed south. Then follow the directions above from the Green Line to the College.
