Katherine Lynch, OD, FAAO
Assistant Professor; Coordinator, Primary Care & Ocular Disease Residency
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Zoology and Spanish, Dr. Lynch pursued her optometric education at the New England College of Optometry. She completed her residency at the VA West Haven, in Ocular Disease and Low Vision, with an additional focus in Acquired Brain Injury.
Dr. Lynch joined the faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry after completing her residency in 2013. Didactically, Dr. Lynch is involved in the Optometry Sequence and is the instructor of record for Injections and Minor Surgical Procedures. She is the Primary Care/Ocular Disease Residency Coordinator and currently serves in Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Advanced Care – Retina.
