Why ICO?
I chose ICO because it is where my own foundation as an optometrist was built, and returning as a faculty member feels like a meaningful way to give back to the next generation of clinicians. I am passionate about creating a supportive clinical learning environment where students can build strong clinical skills, professional identity, and confidence in who they are becoming as both healthcare providers and people. For me, ICO represents purpose, connection, mentorship, and the opportunity to help students feel seen, supported, and prepared for the profession ahead.
