Why ICO?
As a student and a resident at ICO, I have great appreciation for the mentorship that shaped me into the doctor I am today. The learning community that you're a part of helps to foster great minds and I am very excited to stay on and be part of that.
Biography
I was born in Saint Lucia and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I earned by Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL in 2020 before moving to Chicago to pursue by Doctor of Optometry from ICO. I also went on to do a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at ICO/IEI. I am passionate about teaching and fostering a positive and diverse learning environment for students. In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants, crocheting, reading literary fiction and the occasional run.
